The “Dally Worker," issue of January 21, 1953,
page 7, column 3, contained an article entitled, "U.S.
Writers Urge Clemency,” which reflected that one Ossie
Davis was among writers urging clemency for Ethel and
Julius Rosenberg. . oe ,

E = on March 29, 1951, for conspiracy to commit espionage on
ro; 2 behalf of the Soviet Union. The Rosenbergs were sentenced
