There ts nothing in the file to show that the appointment ever went forward to Mre Nixon. ABo, the reason for the cancellation of the appointment is not reflected in the filee It may be assumed that in view of the fact that \ Mr. Nizon wes not immediately available for appointment, and based on .- Hour needs in August of 1937, that the appointment was cancelled.
