SUBJECT: EXAMINATION OF MEDECINES FOR SL
THE ATTORNEY GENERAL -
Robert Of eal ed
With reference to the memorandum from the Laboratory dated
June 7, 1962, this matter was discussed personally with the Attorney
General. Mr. Oehmann, his Executive Assistant, was out of town and
the Attorney General previously indicated he wanted this matter kept most
confidential, -
The Attorney General said he was still trying to get some informa-
tion as to the intended use of the medicine which he asked us to examine.
He understands that without such specifics a definite conclusion cannot be
reached since there is an insufficient amount of the medicine to run all of
the tests that would have to be made. The Attorney General said he is
appreciative of what has been done, the information ascertained has been
helpful and he would like to have the data in written form.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN:
There is attached a blind memorandum incorporating the results
of the Laboratory examination. If approved, this will be handed personally
to the Attorney General rather than being sent to him through the mail in
view of his request the information be maintained in confidence.
