A hot time in hell did cur bullets to these agitators bring; Now, this pictured here is destined as number three, May we remind you that our methods are not only accurate, but @®ry DEADLY:”, signed “The Tenn. Klavern of the United Klans of America." The USA, Chattanooga, is of the opinion the letter might constitute a violation of Title 18, Section 8%6, Paragraph 3. He was not completely sure at the time as to whether or not The NAACP constituted a "person" as listed in the statute. No suspects developed. The envelope and letter were not identified with other submissions in the Anonymous Letter Pile of the FBI Laboratory. Two latent fingerprints of value were located on the letter but are not identical with fingerprints in the Extortion Section of the Single Fingerprint File, Identification Division of the FBI.
