tn this magazine captioned "Ihe Road to West Indian Federatton”
which was of interest in connection with the activity of
Nornan Washington Manly, leader of the People's Party of
Jaonaica. It was noted that Manly's organization appeared to
be receiving the support of the NAACP. It was indicated that
at a “recent” meeting in New Pork, Manly was presented with
a check for $250.00 to aid the work of the People's Nattonal
Party of Janaica. The check was presented to Manly by Roy
Wilkins, Assistant Secretary of the NAACP.
