It was noted that Manly's organization appeared to be receiving the support of the NAACP. It was indicated that at a “recent” meeting in New Pork, Manly was presented with a check for $250.00 to aid the work of the People's Nattonal Party of Janaica. The check was presented to Manly by Roy Wilkins, Assistant Secretary of the NAACP.
