Cc. 20530 Je Dear Mr. Attorney General: I am writing following a request for action from leaders of the Cuban American community, regarding the recent deaths of several Cuban leaders. They inform me that:' some seven individuals, all prominent in the Cuban community, have been murdered. I am enclosing the six listed in a recent letter. Since the receipt of the letter, Ramon Donestevez was found dead, apparently murdered as well. I would appreciate learning whether the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been involved in these investigations, - whether there has been any link established between these killings and whether, if no federal involvement has yet occurred, the Department of Justice would undertake an inquiry. : ‘ Sincerelfy Edward M.
