discussed the replacement of Jack (presumably Hunter Pitts
O'Dell, previously employed as an administrator in the New York
Office of the SCLC) and that in this conversation the name of
Bayard Rustin (Deputy Director - March on Washington) was brought
up by King. King wondered whether it would be possible for
Rustin to come back into the civil rights movement inasmuch as
he had now received good press publicity as sult of the
