Levison's manipulations in regard to the presidential candidates have also been indicated by this installation. Some examples follow: On May 16, 1968, Levison discussed the presidential candidates and agreed that the main concern was to stop Vice President Humphrey's bid. On June 3 and 4, 1968, Levison discussed a proposed mass demonstration scheduled for June 19, 1968, in Washington, D. C., in connection with the Poor People's Campaign and why Bayard Rustin was chosen to run the demonstration.
