All of
those
purposes
have been well served
by the recent decisions
of the
United States
Supreme Court,
to which
I
refer. I
think it
would be
helpful, tn»

of the American Bar Association's
comittee could
be included
in
our
hearing record.
These excesses
of the
Supreme Court can
be
countered in
either
one
of two ways. One way
would
be by constitutional amendment. But, Mr.
Chairman, not only is
that route
slow and uncertain, but
to take it would
imply that
loe change
in
the
Constitution is
necessary in order to protect
the country against the Supreme Court. I cannot say, Inn Chairnmn, that
I would disapprove a proposed Constitutional amendment,
if such
an
amendment
