letter of J. Stanley Pottinger, Civil Rights Division, Department
of Justice, entitled "Surreptitious Entries,” Mr. Pottinger
requested information in nine categories about surreptitious
entries conducted by the FBI since 1/1/66. FBIHQ files reveal
a March, 1966, entry conducted within the New Orleans Division.
New Orleans is being requested to furnish appropriate infor-
mation. .
