ment officers checking leads that he
may have attempted to abduct @~
woman in Long Beach and the FBI
releasing information on his back-

Bundy, convicted of kidnapping and
accused of mutder, escaped from a
Glenweod Springs, Colo., jail Dee. 31.
He was being heid in Colorado for the
raurder of a Michigan woman.
Captain N. D. Hayward, Sait Lake
County Sheriff's Office, said a man

thought to have handcuffed some cf his
victims before killing them.
Bundy was in jail while the Los
