(uJ "The National Emergency Civil Liberties Comnittee announced today that two of the four persons who have been subpoenaed before the House Un-American Activities Committee will hold ea press conference tomorrow Wednesday, September 25, at 2:00 pm in front of the office of the FBi at 201 East 69th Street, New York City. "ABBIE HOFFMAN, leader of the Yippies, and DAVID DELLINGER of the National Mobilization Committee, who have been subpoenaed together with RENNIE DAVIS, another leader of the Chicago protest will te at the conference. "The speakers at the press conference will expose the extensive nationwide harassment of Chicago protestors. Legal Defense for the Subpoended persons will be provided by the National Lawyers' Guild, Law Center for Constitutional Rights and National Emergency Civil Liberties Committee. "The House Un-American Activities Committee will open hearings on October 1. Witnesses friendly to the Committee will appear on October 1 and 2. ABBIE HOFFMAN, DAVID DELLINGER, TOM HAYDEN, and JERRY RUBIN willibe ny called starting October _."
