UNITeD sTATEs GOVeRnMEnT tO Director, FBI DATE: May 5, 1952 FROMMnM SAC, Dallas SUBJECT: SPY FOR THE FBI n officer of the Onyx Refining Resident Agent at. the Brooks Oil Company, both of Abilene, have purchased th. radio program nI:sas a'Communist Spy for the FBIn. stated this is a one-half hour program which will be broadcast. over Station Kwac, Abilene, at 2:00 PM each Sunday for 52 weeks. also advised that there is a one and one-hal minute break at the middle of the program, and he stated he was. inviting comments by:civic leaders concerning the spread of Communism, which comments were to be made during this break. stated he understood the FBI does not have anything to do with the program, but he requested information as to whether Agent. could make comments concerning Communism during one of the breaks in the program.
