He stated for a long time, people who were truly involved in these missions did not speak of this because it was classified top secret. Now that there is more publicity about the missions that did occur and sog operations, those individuals talk only to each other. He stated that approximately five years ago all missions were declassified concerning vietnam sog. He stated that there was a squadron of us Air Force that did insert into Cambodia and a squad of vietnamese troops. He explained they had no sterile mounted guns and they used their own gun ships from the U. S. Air Force. He explained that occasionally they did call on gun ships for support from other units. He also stated that to have sterile firearms, this would have been an infantry type unit. He stated that they did go into Laos using Marine helicopters. He said sog would not have had an insignia to display. He explained that the Air Force squadron used the F-Model Huey and it had a GE double engine, which were considered more reliable. He explained that the F-Model Hueys were purchased for paunennxe ae *aannmnaed paan aaee ang 'puee Aq pue aaonnne aaee ay anq 'saagdoa Arqgsaod pue suns yugn yaty paddgnbe aaam Aeyg ney? is not sure of this.' He explained their primary weapon was the side firing mini gun. He said that sog was a very close knit group. He also He explained that the databases are maintained by and b6 he heiieved that vixtually all orders issued on Soe operations are b7C in database.
