Offense Codes Applicable to FBI's Internal Disciplinary Process
The listed offenses apply to all FBI personnel, regardless of position or title.
The term on duty" refers to the period when an cmployce is performing an official duty or acting in an official capacity, whether or not the employee is being
paid at the time (e.g., misconduct occurring while an employee is driving a Bureau vehicle home at the end of the emplovee's shift is considered "on duty" for
administrative disciplinary purposes.)
