Although Public Interest Telecom customers utilize different telephone numbers, all calls made by the customers show the calls being made from Public. Interest Telecom's main number (212-479-1700). A point of contact for Public Interest Telecom advised that their records show no calls made from any of their customers to on August 29, 2o03. Public Interest Telecom could not explain b6 why they have no record of the calls. b7C Since the person who made the threatening telephone call to the Congressman's office can not be identified, the United States Attorney's Office, District of New Jersey will not be able to prosecute a subject in this matter. Also, Congressman Lobiondo's office has not received any additional telephone calls of .this nature since the call on August 29, 2o03. All logical investigation in this matter is complete. This lead is considered covered and the captioned matter wili be closed.
