SI92-11 On May 10, l966, the Alexander County Grand Jury,. Cairo, Illinois, indicted PAUL BAYkOWSKI and VINCENT GENDRON on murder charges. JOIN ANSELHO and JAMES STEPHENS were charged with aiding. and abetting in connection with above murder charges. These charges resulted from a shooting. occurring on April 13, l966, at the Hub Lounge in Cairo, Iilinois, when a customer was shot and killed. This customer was DAVID CAUGHLIN, a Cairo hoodlum. CHARLES THOmPson, owner and operator of the Hub Lounge, was shot three times but survived. A trial continuance has been obtained in connection with the above indictments until. October, l966. The defendants are endeavoring to ob- tain a change of venue..
