Fishback stated not yet but he has been in contact with. from Dingell's oflice. He toid Jo reach out to the Armed Services Oversight Committee and the Intelligence Oversight Committee. Fishback explained he was in Special Forces and believes that is where the linchpin is. I told Fishback that part of my job was to make sure that people feel safe on canpus, so they can be successful. I added that with all that he had going on I would try to assist him, so he could be successful as well. I explain that his situation may be too complicated for me to. understand, but I had other contacts that nay be abie to hin. I explained that I have previously worked with Special Agent. From the FBI. That koay be able to beter assist/understand his situation. I provided Fishback with business card. I asked Fishback if he ever had any intent to assauit anyone and he said no. I asked Fishback if any of the other staff members had spoken to. him about this and he said no. Fishback said he had sent the email this summer while he was out of the country. Fishback expiained he was following up with Europe Intelligence Agencis. He said he was telling them about some of the stuff that happened to him. Fishback said he asked then if they knew anything and if they could help him out. Fishback stated this is when he sent the email to U of M to let them know if any of them are involved, now is the time to cone forward. Fishback explained he never said, *I will kill you, I said I will prosecute you." I asked Fishback who the email went to. Fishback advised the whole department. I provided Fishback with my business card. I told hirn to let me know if there was anything I could do to assist him.. b6 b7C INVESTIGATION: I did not find any additional infornation that would give cause to believe Fishback is a threat to campus.
