Station WJEL. Dr. PARsoNs stated that he believed the applicant to be
of high moral character, good associates, excellent reputation, and a
question. He felt that the applicant. was capable of holding a position
of trust and confidence. Dr. PARsoNs said that he knew of no one else
who might recall the applicant other than FRANk JONEs, Columbus, Ohio.
Credit:
JAMES MERRILL, Springfield Credit Bureau, advised that
his files contained a satisfactory credit record for the applicant.
MERRILL stated that the applicant did reside at the YMCA in 1947.
Residence:
J. W. RUcKMAN, Room Clerk at the YMCA, produced records
which revealed that the applicant resided at the YMcA from October 30,
1947, to November 13, l947. His home address was shown as Antioch College,
Yellow Springs, Ohio, and his occupation was shown as radio announcer for.
Station WJEL. 'RUckMAN advised that he knew of no one presently residing
at the YMcA that might recall the applicant.
Criminal:
Lieutenant ISAAC HOLLOwELL, Springfield Police Department,.
advised that his files contained no record of the applicant.

FRANK M. JONES, 33 North High Street, advised he first be-
came acquainted with applicant in January, 1943, when JONes became part
owner and general manager of Station WJEL, Springfield. He advised that
at that time applicant was working at that stasion and so worked until.
approximately May, 1948; the work being part o: aoplicant's cooperative
training from Antioch College, and being for s:ix week periods, between
