RE: TONY BERNARD ALFORD
The name TONY ALFORD ia listed as a plaintiff in
‘this matter and describes ALFORD as well as the other plaintiffs
as Negroes who frequent the "People's House" at 316 South
Turner, Charlotte, North Carolina, a voluntary congregation
of individuals concerned with improving the lot of the black
race who are actively preparing themselves for membership in
the BPP,
attended a meeting on June 1969 at 316 South Turner Street.
In attendance at this meet were between 15 and 20 people
who allegedly represented various organizations.

Unity Organization at this meeting. The purpose of this
meeting was to form alliances between various organizations
and any other organizations in the city. This organization

On June 4, 1969, T-1 advised TONY ALFORD attended
a meeting of the potential BPP on Moy & 1963,
ALFORD was one of people at this meeting.
On June 25, 1969, T-1 identified a photograph of
TONY ALFORD who was present at a public rally sponsored by
the Afro American Unity Organization in Charlotte, North

On June 25, 1969, and again on July 18, 1969, T-1
advised that TONY ALFORD is known as a member of the
Afro American Unity Organization and at one time had been in
temporary charge of security at meetings.
