These two individuals, JEROME JOHNSON and BEN CHAVIS, actually arrived too late for the meeting but were greeted as brothers by NUNDING and the others. on Prams ...::- that the 1fro- American Unity Organizaticn’s finances are not known, hovever, no efforts have been made to gather finances other than the smal] amounts donated by the members. 7 avised that*during were held by o-American Unity Organization at Charlotte. have been scheduled until such time as they obtain their charter from the BPP, Oakland, California. On February 21, 1969. WEEE +2707 tes that HAROLD AVENT, renortedly a rield Marshal o he BPP from Greensbaro, North Carolina, sroke at a Malcolm X¥ Day Commemoration service at Johnson C. Smith University. During his sreech, AVENT was critical of the vortraits of white persons hanging on the walls of the auditorium.
