AT MOBILE, ALABAMA. - Agent ascertained from J. D. Bass, Postal carrier on Noute No. 40, Mobilé, Alabama, that Post Office Box 813 receives mail addressed to Mrs. W.E. Parker, 211 Mohawk Street; thet the only people thet he had seen at this address besides some small children were an elderly gentleman and a heevy-sct lady, whose name he did not know. Mrs, W. E. Parker, 211 Mohawk Street, Route No. 40,"Mobile, Alebema, advised thet her daughter, Fratices Medalle Parker, ran awey frofi homé February 10, 1951; that she, Mrs. Parker, later learned that her daughter married a sailor named Joe Ernest Jolley, whd i8 at the present time in Division C, U.S.s, AUGUSTA; that she received & letter from Jolley dated January 22, 1933, advising her thet he hed not seen nor heard of her daughter, his wife, in over a year. Mra. Parker said that when she saw the account of the shooting and capture of Melvin Iva Barrow, and that Clyde Champion Berrow and his wife, Bolinie Parker Ba¥row, hed escaped, thet she thought possibly that this latter party might be her daughter; that she had discussed with a lady by the name of Mrs. L. C, Parl whom she met in front of One of the picture shiws in Mobile, Alabama, the dis- appearance of her dalighter, and also Bhowed her the newspaper clipping relative to Bonnie Parker Barrow; that Mre, Parl sliggested to lier that it would tot be a bad idea to Write the authcrities to ascertain whether or not Bonnie’ Parker Barrow unswered the déscriptitn of her daughter, stating that she; Mrs. Parl, would write the letter for her end that Mrs. Parl wrote the letter above referréd to but she did not kmow thet Mrs, Parl had signed Mrs. Parl's name to the letter, but tholight that shé hed signed her name, Mrs. W. B. Parkes. Agent inquired of Mrs. Perker where Mrs. Parl could be located, and was informed that she had left Mobile, AlaBame, for New Orleans, but hey address was unknown; that Mrs. Parl had informed her, Mrs. Parker, that she had resided at the Salvation Army in Mobile. a At the time agent ifiterviewed Mrs. W. E. Parker, Mrs. Amma Powel, who resid’s at 1214 South 14th Street, Hamilton, Ohio, uni who was visiting her mother, Mrs. W. E, Parker, was also interviewed. Mrs, Powel stated that she had not seen tor heewi of her sister in over a year. Agent submitted photograph of Bonnie Parker Barrow to Mrs. Powel ani Mrs. Parker, and they both steted that it resembles somewhet Frencés Medalla Parker, but that it was not her photograph. Mr. Ray Gearing, Adjutant of the Salvetion Army, Mobile, Alaébems, advised agent after searching his récords, that he did not heve any retord of anyéne by the name of Mrs. L. C.
