This is a large freeze church in which many pro-integration demonstrations have been held during the past year. The following individuals are reported to have died in th he bombing: Carol Robertson, aged 14; Addie Collins, aged 14; Denise McNair, aged 10; Cynthia Wesley, aged 14, all Negro females, In ' addition, 16 other persons were injured, consisting of 8 Negro mal é 5 Negro females and 2 white females, : The rear end of the church was badly damaged, A fire marshal in Birmingham estimated that 10 sticks of dynamite had been dropped on the road surface near the church and ignited with a fuse- type igniter, He estimated the damage to the church would run as high as $20,000 to $30,000, = 3 = A full investigation was immediately instituted b ir Birmingham Office and SAC Raymond L, Faisst promptly procee td? the scene to take charge of our investigation and to coordinate activities with the Birmingham Police Department (PD). acd 8 = ..
