Response: The mtelligence process is built on the provision of intell:gence and the results of intelugence analysis fo consumers who need it for operational, strategic, and pohcy decision-making. Analytic support to FBI executives, in the form of oral briefings and writen products, is a natural outgrowth of ongoing current and finished sntetligence reporting, and we consider ita valuable part of the intelligence cycle and its analytic processes. These requirements are not mutually exclusive, but are properly parts of balanced support for FB!
