Dodds! division, itr. Ze Kager Hoover, Director of the United States Burean ef Investigation, and two of his assistents, Mr, Rughes ond Er. Appal, Mr, Hoover reported for the United States Bureau af Investigation that 40 had made no favestigation ef any phase of the bonus searcher situation and therefore had no iaforastion available. Because of the statements which had been iseued in the presse concerning radical activities, this phases of the matter was discuased and the repre- sentatives of the wericgus organisations were called upon to furnish the information which they aight have concerning this, es wall) ny other phases of the situstion, : fix, Bloan ef the United States Secret Service, stated that the -galy iafernation shich he had was in the possession ef Inspector Davis of the Netropoliten Felice Departaent and stated he hed worked fin elose collaboration with Inspector Sevia and had taken a group of alleged redicals whe had been arrested within the District of Coluebhia to the District Lins to see that they left the District. Inspector Davis turned over te Mr. Rover a file shich he hed eoutaining all of the inforzation in his possession, Representatives of the Military Intelligence, the Inuigration Bureen, end the Veterans Administration hed ao information to furnish. It wes agreed that thefuncticn of the Gaited Eteteas Bureau of Investigation would be to check any fingerprint records shich eight be avatleble fa the crininal fingerprint files {a erder to ascertain the police records ef any persons sho had been arrested during the riots or who had participated in the bonus march.
