In connection with the above interests on the part of Zwiliman in the liquor field it was disclosed that Zwiliman has personal associations with officials of the Saperstein Tnanrance Agency in Newark, which agency controls the entire welfare ef the liquor and distilling unions. This welfare fund is obtained by a percentage contribution of the gross wages of the entire industry. a A confidentiel informant, who has furnished reliable information in the pest, reported that Zwillwan was inatrusentael finencielly in the formation of the Wine and Liquor Salesmen of New Jersey, Local 19, Newark, New Jorsey, and is reported o control this mion. Concerning lebor activities, it has been reported that George Browne, former President of the Internstional Union of Theatrical and Stage Employees, and allegedly a former | mombor of the Capone gang, became head of the afore-mentioned nion as a result of Ais gang connections and thet he was reportedly responsible to Zwillman.
