On January 21, 1953,
advised he
had been reading a article in "The Reporter" magazine, dated
Docember 2, 1952, which article was captioned "The Case of the H
Missin> Diplomats," Page 28. He said that he and his wife had i
seen the subjects on a Tuesday, the cxact date unknom, but j
recalls that it was before July of 1951. <M stated that ;
the subjects were English and drivine a sports car througn
LaGuerche-De-5retagne, Frances stated that
he felt foolish in coming to the FBI to give such a snall
mount of information, but offered this information for rhat
value ii may te worth. He said that the sight of avy English-
men in this particular part of France was not conronplace
and that, therefore, he sincercly believes that these two
men were the subjects. He said that ho has no further information
on the subjectse t
