He was Auzilitary Bishop of Boston from 1932 to 1939, and he has been Archbishop of Wew York from 1939. He was appointed a Cardinal in February, 1946. Cardinal Spellman ts the author of numerous books and pamphlets. RELATIONS WITH THE BUREAU: We have had long and cordial relations with cardinal Spellman.
