The April 5, 1951, issus of the "New York Wirror™
carried an article under the caption "List Ferrer, Holitday
as Fronts for Red&" which stated that the Youse Jn-American
Activities Committee on that day charged that Academy Award
winners Jose Ferrer ond Judy Holliday had been affiliated
with from five to ten Communist front organizations.
According to the article, the Committee made public
ao long list of names, including more than @ score well~kacon
in the field of entertainment, literatire and art, which vé
identified as sponsors of grosps which participated in the
so-called Conminist Peace Sffensive. The Jist of nanes
