The marchers returned to Beeville, Texas, to spend the night . . - On 8/13/66, the marchers were taken back to Normanna, Texas, and continued their march to Pettus, Texas. On 8/14/66, the marchers were taken to their homes in the Rio Grande Valley to visit their families and rest. This is their last scheduled visit to their homes until after the rally in Austin, Texas, on 9/5/66. On 8/16/66, the marchers left Pettus, Texas, en route to a point between Pettus and Kenedy, Texas, con- tinuing their march to San Antonio, Texas.
