David Ph; D .% Secretary-Treasurer INTRODUCTION: Our research efforts have received local attention and approbation during the past year so that we now have excellenl^rapport with the staffs of both the Institute and the *Bordentown -Reformatory . We now have 10 volunteers per week from the latter, and we have a Clinical Investigative Unit which will house 80 schizophrenics (present census 45 patients). Current Status of the Pharmacology Unit The laboratory is still undergoing minor construction, but material progress has been made in the past year. The section for animal screening and conditioning is complete. The sections for animal neuropharmacology and clinical pharmacology have been constructed and put into operation, andan electronic workshop has been set up.
