We arise SD that we were interested in going over the files of the CPA in connection _ truction of the Flamingo Hotel at Las Vegas, Nevada. We advised bx eee we had information to the effect that there was possibly fraud agains 6 Government involved and that there was possibly perjury involved ‘ on the part of the individuals constructing the Flamingo Hotel. We aleo advised hin briefly of the beckground of the individuals concerned with the construction of the hotel. ; SF 2: that he was not intimately acquainted with the oase of the Flamingo Hotel % he had attended about 165 mimtes of the - hearing before Commissione. on August 13, 1946. When he was asked to produce the file in order that we night review it, he said that he could not produce the file because the case was still pending, that there would probably be another hearing on this matter before the commissioner on September 5, 1046, and, therefore, he did not think that the PBI shquld look at the file. We asked him what further action the CPA planned to take, and hs atated that he did not know.
