Indluded was an undated one page "handout" captioned "National Mobilization to End the War in Vietnam Now” that listed Mrs. Martin Luther King as a Hational sponsor and pertained to 2 mass demonstrations to be held in NYC and San Francisco on 4/15/67. Bee "Handout' enclosed b?D 100-151448-39 encl. p.9 1 . (157 a 190-426761-1626 encl. p. 12-A isvl Milford,Conn., Police Department. ) The following references in the file captioned "November 8 Mobilization Committee" disclosed that Mrs. Martin Luther King of the SCLC was a member of the Steering Committee of this group. The November 8 Committee was set up during a meeting of peace groups in Cleveland, on September 10-11, 1966 for the purpose of organizing demonstrations throughout the US to be held on November 5-8, 1966 as a protest against the war in Vietnam. This group was later known as the “Spring Mobili- ' gation Committee to End the War in Vietnam" and was to sponsor anti- Vietnam demonstrations during April 8-15, 1967.
