On January 3, 1946, the "Datly Worker" contd tned an article capttoned "Yugoalav Relief Opens 1946 Drtve.” The article reflected that the American Connittee for Yugoslav ‘Reltef opened tts 1946 acttuities with a concert the preceding evening tn Xew York, New York. Duke Ellington was listed as. one of the sponsors of the concert. The Amertcan Comnittee fr Yugoslav Reltef, Incorporated, has been destgnated by—-tre Attorney—General pursuant to Erecuttve Order 10450. (100.212469-4) --. On March 11, 1946, the "Washtngton Datly News” contatned an article captioned “Poltttctans Bye Ickes New — Role of Prophet for 10 Millton Voters."
