The officers under’ ound in this house a notebook containing a "run and get" or "getaway bre chart", This was leter turned over ta Agents and it was run out and \found to be the getaway chart which had been used by members of the ‘Karpis-Barker gang at the time they robbed the money truek in South St. Paul, Minnesota on August 30, 1953. There was also found in this house a set of fingerprints which had been taken from a wanted notice. These Pingerprints were later identified as being those of Fred-Barker and had been placed on a wanted _eireular issued by the Sheriff's Office at West Plains, Missouri, requesting the apprehension of Fred Barker as being implicated in the | murder of Sheriff C. Ra’Kelly at West Plains, Missouri on Deceuber 19, It. will readily be seen thet had the appropriate investigation gone forward, based upon the splendid information which was furnished by the unknown informant, the apprehension of the Karpis-Barker gang members would have been expedited to a degree which it is impossible to caleulate and a tremendous saving in money would have been effected. During the tine that former Special Agent wae: conducting his investigation at the Cleveland Police Department, this same unknom informant appeared on September 7, 1954 and requested to kmow whether the information furnished by him had proved to be of any value.
