his automobile. SA MCNEILL cleared his vehicle, returned fire at
the subjects automobile, and was wounded in the right hand/arm by
rifle fire after discharging four rounds. SA MCNEILL discharged
the remaining two rounds in his revolver and retreated around the
back of his unit, taking cover to load at the passenger side rear
panel area.
As the subjects initiated firing, SA's DOVE and GROGAN
returned fire, using their vehicle as cover. SA HANLON cleared
his vehicle and joined SA GROGAN at the rear of the GROGAN/DOVE
unit. SA MIRELES exited the HANLON/MIRELES unit and proceeded to
a cover point at the rear of SA MCNEILL's unit. SA MIRELES was
hit in the left forearm by a rifle round as he approached the
tear of MCNEILL's vehicle, taking cover at the rear bumper area.
SA's RONALD RISNER and GILBERT ORRANTIA simultaneously arrived
and staged their vehicle on the west side of &2nd Av. [see
EXHIBIT A) SA RISNER exited his vehicle and assumed cover behind
the passenger front fender, firing at the subjects from this
vantage point. Subject(s) fired on the RISNER unit, and SA
ORRANTIA remained in the vehicle for cover, returning fire
through the front driver window. It is from this position that
A ORRANTIA was wounded by bullet shrapnel soon after arriving on
&
the ecene
After the initial exchange of fire resulting in the
wounding of SA's MANAUZZI and MCNEILL, both subjects exited the
black Monte Carlo, and took positions of cover in the forward
area cof this vehicle and the adjoining FBI and civilian
automobiles. From this new vantage point, subject MATIX and
PLATT were able to fire on the agent's cover positions with
minimal obstruction. The wounding of SA's ORRANTIA and MIRELES
occurred after the subjects exited the Monte Carlo.
As the exchange of gunfire continued, subject PLATT
wounded SA MCNEILL with a round of rifle fire, striking MCNEILL
in the shoulder/back. This wound, in conjunction with the
previous wound to his hand/arm incapacitated SA MCNEILL for the

' Apparently the next casualty to be borne by the SA's
was the wounding of SA HANLON, who was hit by. rifle fire in his
right hand/arm as he reloaded his handgun after firing at the
subjects from his cover point at the rear of the GROGAN/DOVE
vehicle. SA HANLON then observed subject PLATT, who had now
charged the GROGAN/DOVE vehicle (passenger side), proceed around
the area, fire multiple rifle rounds and then enter the
.Gyivers' side of that unit. It was during this charge and firing
BY Subj}eCt PLATT that 5A GROGAN and DOVE were killed and SA
HANLON suffered additional wounds in the groin and leg. -
