Approwt- TMa¥ely five minutes after SUTTER was kidnapped he was advisdd to lay down in the back on- the floor of the back seat, and was covered with the blanket which wrapped the machine gun, The vehicle stopped in the back of an apartment house approxi- mately fifteen minutes after SUTTER was kidnapped. Before they reached the apartment house the trio discussed placing SUTTER in the trunk of the vehicle, but SUTTER advised there waS no room in the trunk as it was filled with various items. The trio also discussed moving the back seats of the vehicle forward and SUTTER advised them how to move the seats correctly, After the vehicle parked in back of the two story cream or dirty yellow stucco apartment building the driver of the vehicle departed for approximately five minutes. A female, possibly the same one who grove the vehicle, returned in approximately five minutes, but her shoes were apparently different inasmuch as they were bright red or green shoes similar to a cloth moccesin or bedroom slipper, with no sole. In addition, She wore multi-colored slacks, As the female entered the vehicle the door was opened far enough that SUTTER could observe a stairway which led Giagonally up the rear of the apartment house, a straight roof on the apartment house, old asphalt paving in the parking. area painted with old peint, whieh appeared to be more than three years old, Four to five parking spaces were observed between the vehicle and the apartment house. No vegetation vias visible in the rear of the avertment. The apartment house appeared to be more than ten years old, , At that point the vehicle departed the apartment area and it was approximately one half hour Later when the male asked, "Are we going to Griffith Park?" The driver said, "Yes", At this point SUPTER indicated he was absolutely lost as he could not hear or see anything. At approximately 10:00 a.m,, SUTTER indicated the vehicle drove into a cul-de-sac area, and.a person outside the vehicle inquired of the Griver, "Where do you want to go?" The male said, "We don't want to go to the university", At that point the vehicle turned around and drove carefully for a leng time,
