LA 7-1627 NEW 7 ATT tPucks going by near the area where they were parked, SUTTER indicated there wes not enough traffic to be near a freeway, just a busy road, : At approximately 11:30 a.m,, the female driver, Still wearing the floppy hat, exited the vehicle, the second female moved over to drive, and the male moved from the back Seat to the front seat of the vehicle. The location of the vehicle at that time is unknown to SUTTER, At approximately 12:30 p.m., the male inquired of SUTTER, “Does your car have a low fvel Light?" SUTTER replied, "Yes, when the tank has approximately one quarter tank left the light goes on", A few minutes after asking the guestion the male stepped out of the vehicle and advised, "It won't be long now, We are going to a hill, and we will leave you at the hill, then back your car down the road a ways, The keys will be on the floor mat on the driver's side”, The vehicle was started and turned around after a few minutes, and the male advised SUTTER to exit the vehicle. SUTTER | deperted the vehicle on the passenfer side, approximately one half mile to three querters of a mile northwest of the Planetarium in Griffith Park, At that point the male seemed to straddle the door, still grasping the machine gun. The male advised SUTTER to hay down for fifteen minutes to give them time to get away, then walk straight ehead and recover his vehicle, Also, the male told him not to hitch a ride because he would “get there too soon". At the time of the exit, approximately L:15 p.m., May - 17, L974, SUTTER observed the male and female number two in the vehicle, The third individual, female number one, was not ob- served in the car, Femsle number tvo was driving. SUTTER observed a spread of photographs and identified a photograph of EMILY MONTAGUE HARRIS as female. number one, At approximately 6:00 p.m., May 17, 1974, SUTTER observed the odometer of his 1973 Lineoln Continental Mark Iv, California license 749 GNB, and advised the gas tank appeared _to be less than one quarter and it ha@ been ériven approximately 159 wiles during the time of his ebduetion, --346--
