Upon his return, as told by his wife that the rent had not been received from either JACKSON or WILSON. ttempted to contact WILSON and JACKSON by telephone on several occasions between March 3, and about March 15, 1974, however, he was unable to locate them by telephone. on about March 15, 16, or 17, 1974, iy went to the property at 37 Northridge Drive and noted tha the house appeared to be abandoned. There was mail stashed . in the mailbox and no signs of anyone being at the property. stated he could not enter the front door with his key because of the new security lock and after attempting to open various windows in the house, found a kitchen window unlocked. ntered the house through the unlocked kitchen window after -forcing his way through tightly drawn cloth which he later found had been nailed to the inside of the window frame. hen examined the inside pf © the property and foun at all windows, including a fro$ted .
