GF. «<3 that approximately one week prior to January 12, 1974, he ran a rental advertisement in the "San Francisco Examiner* for the apartment located at 514 Winchester Drive, Daly City, and that on Thursday, January 10, 1974, he received a telephone inquiry from an unknown female and he made arrangements to meet her in front of the afore-mentioned apartment house at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 1974. dvised that he had arrived at the apart- ment prior to anyone else's arrival. He stated that about 2:00 p.m. on January ll, 1974, he observed a white colored foreign made vehicle pull up in front of the address. noted that he was positive this vehicle was not a Vol because of his dislike of this make of vehicle. wagen eratae stated that two white female adults alighted from the vehicle, and he noted there was a third party who stayed in the car, however, he was unable to advise if the third party was male or female. He said that the females identified themselves as JOANNE JANES and JUDITH LAWRENCE. He advised after they looked at the apartment, they decided to take it.
