They produced some type of driver's licenses, and id not notice much about them except to state he would have noticed if they had been out-of-state licenses. noted that he copied the spelling of JUDITH LAWRENCE's name onto a rent receipt dated January 12, 1974, which was taken from the name on her driver's license. tated that v o> at the time that they looked at the apartment on January ll, 1974, his brother's furniture was still in the apartment and the girls wanted to rent the furniture also. _ agreed to leave the furniture, however, he would have to obtain a $50 deposit fee for any damages, plus of $50 cleaning fee. In addition, he collected a total of $350 rent fee for the apartment which would cover the first and last month's rent. The girls agreed to the price, . however, they objected to the $50 cleaning fee, but sub- sequently agreed to pay all fees and rental for the property. ; cart offered to help them move into the apartment, however, e girls declined his offer, saying that one of them had_a boyfriend with a truck who would help them move in. on Janvary 14, 1974, at which time he had difficulty in arousing anyone inside after loud knocking on the door.
