(PH 781.299. f He t61d WALTER that they were presently located on 6 small farm in the Honesdale-Lake Ariel area, which JACK had rented, WALTER had known from previous conversation with JACK that @ farm had been rented by JACK in that area, JACK further told him that the farm was located approximately two miles from the Volunteer Firehouse at Lake Ariel. It had ap- = ‘proximately 2% acres and the house was 30 or 4O years old. The fugitives were conditioning themselves physically, had lost a great deal of weight, and were enjoying themselves. They had a pond which had fish in it and a volleybhh] net in the yard. JACK made a comment that HEARST waa very much involved in the movement, had taken an active part, and was in excellent physical condition. He said she could do 20 - fingertip pushups. ; an _, WALTER had several conversations with his brother regarding his association with the fugitives during the time they were together at Laas Vegas. His brother was very guarded in his comments to WALTER and although the subject of his association with the fugitives came up in various converga- tions, the topic of the conversation was changed by JACK after only a few short comments, Therefore, the sum total of WALTER'ts information concerning the fugitives came as the result of bits and pieces of information which was disclosed to him during these conversations, WALTER left Las Vegas after approximately a four week stay at His parents' house and went overseas for eme- ployment at Tripoli. He remained overseas. during most of the month of August and returned to the United States in late September. ‘He went to Las Vegas, again to the home of his parents, where he stayed for approximately a two month period, During this time, he made several trips to the West Coast looking for jobs. Sometime in late September, MICKI MC GEE arrived at his parants' home. At this point, WALTER Was aware that JACK was still someplace on the East Coast and would arrive soon to move to the West Coast. le
