‘ On January 14, furnished this office a copy of a leaflet
entitsed, "Keep America Free." This leaflet dealt with HANNS EISLER and the
deportation charges against him. Among the statements in the leaflet were;
"DOES THE THOMAS-RANKIN COMMITTEE ASSERT THAT FIGHTING FOR THE OVERTHROW OF
HITLER 1S SYNONYMOUS WITH FIGHTING FOR THE OVERTHROW OF THE AMERICAN FORM
OF GOVERNMENT? Mr. EISLER disagrees with them.” There was no identifying
data on the leaflet which was transmitted through the mails. The copy
furnished y is being retained in the files of this office.
