“ilwaukee advises that CARI, after a further search of his personal records,
had located additional informaticn rerarding the operations of the Philadel~
phia agency of Woodstock concerning sales and repair records. CARO! at
that time emphatically pointed out that these were not official records
of the Woodstock Commany, tut rather personal records made by hin at the
ting, He also pointed out Unst it had becn his expericnce that typewriter
salesmen as a class were cxtremely prone to retain commicsion vouchers.
this information is set forth in the report of Agent KINsLiw dated January

The personal records of CANC. recarding sales and repairs and con-
eerniny which he was very specific in advising that these were not officicl
reconis of the Woodstock Typewriter Company were turned over to the Philadel~
phia office and additional investigation was conducted concerning typewriters
purchesed by individuals or organizations set forth in these records, ‘The
records were subsenuently returned to ir, CANG, Philadelphia tel to the
Rureau,New York, WFO and Chieaso dabed 5-17+-49 points out that there is no
record of serial number 230599 in the personal records of Liar. CALOl, and
this information is set forth in report of Agent KIRALAND dated 5-23-19 cover~
ing the period May 17 throuch 235, 1949.
Philadelphia bel to the Bureau, Newark, and New York dated 6-14-49
sets forth the results of a contact with CANG? concerning a specific recol-
lection by hin of MH. 2. Cull! sho was a junior salesnen under him in 1927,
19°29. ‘This information, wiicn was set forth in report of Agent KINALAND
dated 6-30-49, covered the period June 9, throush 22, 1949.

instructions b:r tel dated Movember 22, and arrangements were made that he
should contact this office and advise of any future contacts by SLA or any
other indivi-val representing ALGUR HISG6. At this tame he stated that he did
