JULY 4, 1933
William Brandenburg was again contacted, and advised that he had
telked to the manager of the beurice path House, where the confidence men ©
take their baths. The mamger, known as "Red," told Brandenburg that he had
os! a very gogd idea of who was responsible for the massacre at Kansas City,
oo but said that he would not give that information out. Brandenburg mentioned
rewards to him, and personal benefits, but "Red" declined to make any state-
ments. Brandenburg intends to keep up his contact with "Red" in hope of
secur ing inforration of valus.
