The hotel's records show numerous charges for telephone calla to
thie party. A liat of these calls wae made and is attached hereto. It ia
pertirent to note that a call was made by Long on Februsry £2, 1933 to
Victor\.ason, Valentine 7821, Kaneas City, and that a call was received for
long from Kansas City at 6:50 P.M. Fed. 27, 1933. It is further noted
that a call was received to Long on February 26 at 9:25 Pel. from Joplin,
Missouri. These incoming calls were prepaid, end the number calling was
not available at Hot Springs, Valentine 7821 is the Newbern Hotel.
It was further noted thet a number of telegrems were sent by the
party. Through the courtesy of the manager of the Postal Telegraph Company
at Hot Springs it was ascertained that only one of the telegrams was sent
by his company. While it appears to have no connection it is set out heree
with for such velue as it may serve. It is directed to Bon Feingold, San
Carios Eotel, Phoenix, Arizona, and was sent Feb. 21, 1035, as a night
letter.
“Weather out here is simply great. It sure was very etupid
of me not to offer you any drink when I seen you in Tuscone
Peeling fine it sure is better here than I expected. Will
be here for about two weeks. Take care, Kutlow®
: Arrangementa were made with ir. Kilton Robles of the Western Union
Telegraph Compeny to have copies of the telecrems transmitted by hia
Compeny forwarded direct to the Kansas City Office of the Bureau, aml they
were received 7-24-1925,
Mr. Nobles advised in a communication that he had only bem able
to locate two of the telegrams noted, which are eas follows:
Feb. 26, 1953, addressed to Kies Evelyn Richman, 25 Johnson
Avenue, Newark, NeJe o
"Tried to get you, could not account number
being changed. Wire or call me at seven
tomorrow night. All my love. (Sed.) Abe.*

To Ki. Bello, 135% Club View Drive, Beverly Fille, California =
- "Feeling fine hope you are all well. Will cell
at seven o'clock your tire. Regerds and love
to all. (agd.) & (A.Long, Room 542, Arlington
EKotel) ; ;
