& letter from the Oklahoma City Office, dated dune 29, 1933,
addreased to the Kensas City Office, reflects that a letter dsted June
21, 1933, was received froma the Sheriff's Office at Chickasha, Oklahoma,
containing information concerning ea Cadillac Sedan, driven by en indi-
widuel giving the name of SLindsay®, of Eansae City, Eissouri, who
was referred to as a racketeer. It does not appear thrt investigation
wee mede of this matter, although the Sheriff in hia letter indicated
suspicious circumstances concerning this car and ite occupants. The
letter from the Oklehome City Office, dated January 13, 1974, addressed
to the Ksnses City Office, reflects that investigation at Chickasha,
Oklahone, discloses that a green Cadillac Sedan, bearing Mieeour!
tag nusbers 313-996, and its ococupents, hed been in the vicinity
of Chickasha, Okleahoas, frow June 15 to due 25, 1933, es nearly as
can be established by witnesses interviewed. Deputy Sheriff A) Marlow
at Chickasha, pleces the date as June 14, 1933, when he was called to
a residence two alles south of Chickasha to investigate a drunken
driving charge, it being alleged that the operator of the above
described sedan was driving the car in a reckless sanner, The ear
was driven to the residence of a Mrs. Belle Domey, and when the
Sheriff arrived, the sedan was parked in front of the house, The
owner of the car gave his name as George Lindsey, Jr.
Mrs. Downey wes interviewed by Special Agent T. HN. Birch,
whose he describes as being a very flashy wouan, very indiscreet in
her conversation, and under the Lafluence of intoxicating liquors
at the tine she was intervieved. Mrs. Downey steted that Lindsey
hed married the daughter of her husband by a previous marriage, and
that she had no use for the Lindsey faalily because of their woderworlé
’ eonnections, and thet she would certainly like "to see the lew get
