Re during June 1935 two road houses in Kansas City in shich Mulloy and Kathrens were interested; namely, the /85th Street Tavern and the Forse Shoe Club, telephone numbers Jackson 9702 and Jackson 9515 respectively. ; Attention ia called to the report of Special Agent W. Fe Trainor dated at Kansas City, Missouri, November 28, 1932, in this matter, especially to pages 5 and 6, showing long distance calls from the telephones of these two road houses during the months of April and July 1633. It may be stated here that it aeemed apparent at the time that report was made that there sbould be some record of long distance telephone calls from those telephones of May end June 1933, and although this office has endeavored repeatedly, through the assistance of the telephone company, to locete such records, it has been definitely atated by telephone company officials here that there were no calle during that period (May and June 1923), inasmuch as there are no toll tickets to be found. Tie telephone company does not render a bill on telephones such aa these, same having been pay telephones and the only availeble record would be the toll tickets. Investigation has been made heretofore of the records per- taining to Frank B. Kulloy’sa telephone and it wae found that there Were no lonz distance eslis from that phone to any point in Texas during the period from April 1 to August 1, 1932. ‘The telephone of Eulloy shows the following long distance calls during that period: DATE CITY PERSON NULIBER Apr. 6 Chicego, Ill.
