It is noted that inveatigation has been made and reported
heretofore, through the Bremer cese, at the Baltimore Hotel, in an
effort to locete a registration of Paule Rearmon, especially during
the months of April or May 1935, but same was done without result.
Special Agent W. Fs. Trainor, who made this inquiry of the
telephone company et Kansas City, Kissourl, tes advised that even
thouzh the long distance toll tickets for the months for which long
distance calls are thought to have been made are availeble, unless
specific telephone numbers are indicated for search there ig no means
of deterwining wheather long distance calls were made from Kansas City
to a given point without a search of the records pertaining to
approximately 250,000 telephones in Kansas City and the suburbs.
This is true because the records do not reflect long distance calls
by cities, and the toll tickets are filed under the respective numbers
of the source from which the calle eranate. The telephone company
would decline to make such a search, and would require definite informa-
tion as to what telephone end what date is to be considered.
The telephone recorde indicate the following toll calls on
the telephone of Vernon C. Miller, listed under the name of Vincent
cQj:core, 6612 Edgevele Road, for the period from April 1 to June 16,
19Z2,. which was the full period for which the telephone waa used:
