Unless otherwise indicated, the following individuals
were interviewed in Washington, D. C.
Thomas H. Kuchel, United States Senator from
California, advised he has net Mr. Fortas on occasion, but has
not had any cloge personal contact with him. He stated
Mr. Fortas enjoys an excellent reputation as an attorney and
gaid he has heard nothing unfavorable concerning hin.
Senator Euchel stated he would be unable to make any further
comments regarding Mr. Fortas.
